hi there!
I'm Ilse, a visual artist currently based in Zwolle, The Netherlands. I love creating work that sparks joy or spreads warm feelings.
​Mostly I work with clay and pencils. My ceramics vary from calm, detailed sculptures to tiny colorful trinkets, and from wobbly hand-built vases to adorable figurines. Quiet detailed moments are captured in my scribbly pencil illustrations and playful animals and other characters have recently been filling my sketchbooks.

Whenever I can I am taking part in art fairs and other creative events, and in my studio I host my own ceramics workshops so you can make something sweet for yourself!
